Elektron Machinedrum MkII sound design exploration#elektron #dawless #dnb

Floating in the air or deep inside a cave, this last weeks have been busy with the development of a new release in collaboration with Khants

The track is called Higher and it will be part of a drum and bass compilation coming out in a few months

As many other drum and bass tracks it explores the interplay of percussion elements with a deep sub bass, we went out of our way to sound design all the key elements introducing @weareelektron machinedrum textures and atmospheric layers, trying to recreate the feel of sounds heard in different environments

Shoutout to @ferice_dnb for the inspiring work in Memories EP that has been the blueprint for this production
