Hey friends,
On February 12th, 2026 my good friend Fabian Laute and I met up at his studio with one goal: record an ambient session together. But we had one problem: the setup took way longer than expected, and we ran out of time completely. Which meant we didn't have a single rehearsal. Not one test run together.
So what you're watching here is literally what happened when we plugged our setups together, did a quick level check, agreed on a key, hit record on all three cameras and just played. No plan, no arrangement, no pre recorded clips (apart from the field recordings) and no idea what the other person was about to do next. And honestly, I think that's exactly what makes this session special. There's a kind of trust and musical connection that only happens when you let go of control and simply listen to each other.
We're really happy with how this turned out and definitely want to do more sessions like this.
