Should I Stop Releasing Music? | Melodic Minute

Hey friends,

Welcome to another Melodic Minute - the slow, quiet corner of YouTube where we take our time. This one is mostly about something that's been on my mind lately: what releasing music actually feels like in 2026.

I'm speaking about where things stand today for me: streaming turning art into content, AI flooding the platforms, and why some of the magic of a release has faded for me plus where I still find hope. I'd love to hear how you release or consume music these days, so let me know in the comments.

The jam you're hearing throughout is an improvised take on "Void," the title track from my new EP "A Taste Of Void." I'm shaping the piano through expressive velocity playing, while pushing the Moog Mother-32 into more experimental territory — working with glide, resonance and pitch while modulating pitch and filter cutoff with a slow sine wave LFO to get those out-of-space sounds running through the track.

The full EP is out now: https://kvndra.bandcamp.com/album/a-t...

You can find all the gear I use here: https://thmn.to/thocf/pn2np42i69

Stay creative,

Milan (KVNDRA)
