Stop Losing Your Best Ideas | Melodic Minute
Hey friends,
welcome back to another Melodic Minute — the slow, calm corner of the internet where we slow down, play some music, and think a little deeper about the creative life.
This episode is about one of the greatest assets we have as creatives: our ideas — and, more importantly, how to catch them and evolve them before they slip away. While we talk about that, I'm playing calm, melancholic harmonic progressions on the Moog Subsequent 25, which slowly opens up as I bring in some LFO modulation on the filter.
Along the way I share a perspective on ideas from author Liz Gilbert and her book "Big Magic," plus the little note system I've built to catch ideas when they strike and develop them when the time is right.
Melodic Minute is a slow, unhurried series, and it only keeps going because people choose to support it. If this episode gave you something, the best way to help keep the series alive is on Patreon: / kvndra
I'd love to hear how you deal with your own ideas — do you have a note system too, or something completely different? Let me know in the comments.
Stay creative,
Milan (KVNDRA)
