Buy Food With Plastic
This year, all our initiatives are supporting Buy Food with Plastic. Which means that every-time you buy one of our compilations or a sample pack, 100% of your money is going straight to them.
Their mission is to tackle hunger and plastic pollution at the same time by enabling people to pay for food with plastic bottles. In Nicaragua, Ghana and India they organize events with a team of local staff where people can pay a warm meal with ten plastic bottles. By doing this BFWP can sensitize locals about the plastic problem, create jobs and bring hope to places where it's sometimes hard to find. The goal of their events is to bring people together, spread hope and joy. After collecting the plastic bottles and rescuing them out of the environment, BFWP either up-cycle them to new products or recycle them accordingly. In the end, the idea is to create a circular economy and self-sustaining ecosystems.

What BFWP achieved so far:
- 44.200 meals distributed
- 42.600 plastic bottles saved
- 4.010 people helped
- 11 / 6.3 FTE people employed
