Atlas Castle x Nurse - 'Duality' EP Limited Edition Cassette

$10.00
Sold Out

Back in 2020, Nurse (Los Angeles, California) and Atlas Castle (Copenhagen, Denmark) showcase their common musical strengths and inspirations with their very first collaboration “The Drug In Me Is You” - “With invigorating and nostalgic ambient trance flavor, Atlas Castle & Nurse delivers a wider sense of what could be in ‘The Drug In Me Is You’.” - ComeHereFloyd

A year after this successful collaborative release, both artists decided to make a new statement and teamed up towards a full EP: “Duality”.

Aren’t we all fueled by the expectations of the light while mostly hiding in the dark? With this collaboration EP, Nurse and Atlas Castle are subtly embracing this path. Always on the edge of light and hope while staying fueled and tempted by melancholy feels and darkness. A journey that opens your eyes to the beauty in darkness and the corruption within light.

Nurse saying: “It was funny the way we worked, the way it flowed. Because we knew we wanted to merge our worlds which generally are light (Atlas Castle) and dark (me). We also knew that we wanted to remix each other's tracks only solidifying that mesh of the two worlds. But when we each made our first tracks, mine was light and Atlas’s track was darker.

It was like a breath of fresh air and we still got to put our "normal" touches on the remixes. It truly showed how interchangeable the light and dark worlds can be and really showed that not one person has to solely be on one side you know?

This clearly shows I can be light and dark and you can be dark and light. Just like the world, just like everything in life. Hence. Duality.”

Are you using the Bandcamp app? - We usually don’t pay much attention to playlists on streaming platforms, but this one hits different.

In there, playlists are made from music people actually bought. A rather authentic way to spotlight artists
Some behind the scenes from last night! The 4th edition of Push The Buttons was another lovely gathering. Good people, good vibes, and a whole lot of synths, samplers, and sound nerding.

We had everything from casual gear talk and spontaneous jam s
