“Tiredness is a beautifully haunting feeling. Struggling with it long enough will (probably) switch something, somewhere, in who and what you are. Sometimes it makes me wonder who I am, what I like, what I want... But it never gives any answer. Music helps in that regard. It eases. It angers. It questions without asking for answers. It revolts. It soothens. It alienates. It brings amnesia. Making music when I’m tired is a journey, a therapy: from the instruments I wish I had studied to those I regret not practicing anymore; from the abstract void to the rhythmic madness, it channels the incessant questions and brings biting to my mind for some time. The Dirtywave M8 was my personal vessel over the last months, allowing me to discover pieces of my own mind, navigating through the ideas, changing directions constantly.
