Weekly Jams - July 27 \\Downtempo\\ | Tonverk, Artemis

Hello! In this jam, the Artemis is doing 3 tracks; the bass, and both main melodies. I made a nice patch with some movement built in via the lfo mod matrix, controlling some FX amounts to add a glitching effect with the resonator and the distortion. Also really love that new bbd playground delay!

The Tonverk has the standard drum duties, with the hats being on a subtrack so there can be choke groups for the hats. Then there is a vocal sample going through the grainer machine on a rhythmic mode, which also goes through some heavy FX ramped up towards the end.

Lastly, most tracks including the Artemis are going through a bus that ducks the level with the kick as usual, but then also there is a compressor on the master track doing a similar thing, which I found together makes a nice cosy glued feel.
