Reinhout is the artist name of Stijn Reinhout Firmin Viaene. He is based in Norway and also releases chill out music under his Firmin name. Reinhout is his more intimate project, exploring the space between ambient, electronica and melodic electronic music.
Reinhout creates emotional electronic music shaped by melancholy, movement and atmosphere. Intimate piano, warm synths, organic textures and subtle electronic rhythms come together in music that moves between quiet introspection and the dancefloor.
Inspired by Nordic landscapes Reinhout creates cinematic spaces where acoustic and electronic elements blur into one another. Melodies are given room to breathe, imperfections are left intact, and emotion remains at the centre.
