Building up a groove on Machinedrum UW and Monomachine SFX 60 #elektron #legacy

In this jam, I start from scratch and build up a groove using the Elektron classics: Machinedrum UW, Monomachine SFX-60, and Octatrack. The groove evolves step by step—layering, subtracting, and sculpting elements into a tight, ravey flow.

The Machinedrum UW lays down the rhythmic foundation with punchy, 909-flavored drums—classic kicks, snappy snares, and percussive textures that drive the beat forward.

The Monomachine SFX-60 brings the melodic edge, with rich, layered basses and rave-style stabs crafted from the iconic Digipro waveforms by Johnny Wagner—gritty, digital, and full of character.

The Octatrack ties everything together, adding movement and space with transition effects and dynamic mixing, creating seamless shifts between patterns and energy levels.
