We've been looking forward to celebrate this release with you! 'Spindrift' is a 4 track EP crafted by ITEM around his early dub techno influences. Taking inspiration from releases by labels such as Basic Channel, Mosaic and Echochord. Through those 4 tracks, ITEM tries to emulate the relentless, hypnotic groove, championed by the precursors of the genre.

With a strong emphasis on the effects, dub techno lends itself to a more organic, ambient sound. Letting individual elements breathe and spread around the space they occupy. If you ask us, ITEM nailed it.

Get ready for an immersive experience with a rich sonic palette. Those four tracks are evocative and will take you on an emotional atmospheric drive. A key part in the process was to do with as little as possible. Using the least elements and sparse arrangements. All you’ll want is to press repeat and fall back into the layers of sounds. Surely you don't wanna miss this one out!
