“During 2025 I felt more and more disconnected from making electronic music. The demand to be sensational, but still fit into a certain box, plus the tendency that you have to please the audience, not challenge them repels me. I began to fall into these patterns my self whilst recording for the EP, which caused a total writer’s block and musical identity crisis. After abandoning all the music I had recorded, and spending a lot of time just listening to music I love, I eventually felt the creativity coming back.
This EP is the beginning of me reconnecting with my machines and reigniting my love for making electronic music. I’m happy with the outcome of this EP, but I must also admit that the thought process and questioning is something I take with me.
Reconnect contains 4 tracks that might point in different directions, but they still have one thing in common: they insist on being themselves.”
