KVNDRA - ‘A Taste Of Void’ EP Out Now!
Kvndra’s new EP, 'A Taste Of Void' is now available through Petite Victory Collective.
"A Taste Of Void" marks a new chapter in KVNDRA's discography and is the first work made entirely without drums. Dark ambient pads and slow-moving textures move between bombast ("Dune: Part Three") and calm ("Void"), between weight ("Awakening: Prelude") and light ("Awakening").
The EP is an exploration of musical ideas that lets go of genre conventions, an attempt to follow intuition and emotion rather than a plan. "Dune: Part Three" was never meant as a sequel to "Dune", yet its mood turned it into one. Almost every title, and the whole concept of the EP, came afterwards, once the exploring was done. More than a collection of tracks, it's a reminder of how exploring sound without a goal can open completely new doors.
All tracks were recorded live in one take using the Ableton Push 3, the Moog Mother-32, the Hologram Microcosm and the Meris Mercury X. Mixing and mastering were applied in post.
