59 Perlen - 'Retrospective' Album Out Now !
59 Perlen’s album “Retrospective” is out now through Petite Victory Collective.
With Retrospective, we present a carefully curated collection of works spanning the last three years of 59 Perlen’s artistic output. The album brings together released and unreleased jams, live recordings, studio experiments, sketches, and fully realized tracks, drawn from a wide range of moments and environments.
Rather than functioning as a traditional “best of,” Retrospective captures pieces that continue to feel vital and relevant today. Each track stands on its own, yet together they form a cohesive snapshot of an evolving artistic language.
The Vinyl Deluxe edition expands on this concept through an included booklet designed as a diary. For every track, the artist shares a short personal note, reflections on what the piece represents, why it endured, or what still resonates about it, offering listeners a rare, intimate entry point into the process behind the music.
This release also marks a significant transition. Retrospective will be the final album released under the name 59 Perlen. Originally adopted out of necessity, the project name is now being consciously laid to rest as the artist shifts focus away from streaming platforms and toward vinyl and direct distribution via 59 Perlen’s own website.
Moving forward, all releases will appear under his real name: Rosenkranz. Looking back while clearly pointing ahead, Retrospective serves both as a document of where things have been and a statement of what’s to come.
