Reinhout’s debut album 'What Remains' is now available through Petite Victory Collective.
What Remains is Reinhout's debut album, born from memories, distance, change, and the things that stay with us long after certain moments have passed.
Across nine tracks, the album moves between ambient soundscapes, gentle piano melodies, organic textures, and subtle electronic rhythms. Don`t expect banging dancefloor stuff or hands-in-the-air drops. Reinhout's music unfolds slowly, small details reveal themselves over time, emotions are allowed to exist without being forced.
There is a strong Nordic feeling running through the album: spacious, calm, and sometimes a touch of melancholy. Reinhout clearly draws inspiration from contemporary emotional electronic music but also succeeds in creating his own sound, a sound that feels intimate and personal.
The title track, What Remains, brings the album to a close and captures its central idea. Places change. Seasons come and go. People move on. Yet there is always something that remains.
What Remains is about those traces. Not about holding on to the past, but about accepting that our experiences become part of us and continue to shape who we are.
