Pittsburgh Modular Taiga | Overview and Beginner Modular Tips | Hanging With Hexwave

“Hello again! This one is super duper long, but I really wanted to do a general overview of the Taiga since I love it so much. No script so it's my usual "figure it out as I go" style ;) I hope you can find it useful or informative or fun or whatever the heck you want it to be I guess.

Apologies for any errors or mis-speaking as it's quite long and I honestly didn't go over it that closely afterwards! The dynamics section I know I didn't explain that well, largely because I'm the least certain on aspects of it even though I mostly understand it, but I could have done a better job in that area.

For instance, the low pass gate mode raises the harmonic content of the lower frequencies, which gives it a unique feel to the sound and I didn't really say that well. Also, it's not an overly great SOUNDING demonstration, but I was really just wanting to show off the functions with explanations instead of worrying about trying to make good sounding stuff.

Plenty of great videos out there if you want to see what this thing can really do :) This is more like, a visual manual, read to you by an eccentric scatter brained knob twister. Let me know if you have anything you'd like to know about this! I have another SHORTER video planned soon for some more concise tips.”
