Zirio - 0:32 / 5:41JAM 2023 #07 (Deeply punchy)

🧠 It's a pretty simple jam in terms of playing, I mute de-mute and a few filter twists here and there. But there's this mood, a bit paradoxical, between the progressive bass on the edge of a contemplative, evolving pad, and the very punchy, almost techno rhythm section. I created this pattern in a few hours; I spent a little time sculpting the pad-bass precisely.

💡 The octatrack handles the overall BPM and the whole rhythm section, as usual! Analog Four takes care of the melodic elements, bass and synths.

⚙️ The bass is side chained in the octatrack (thanks @EZBOT_ for the tutorial); the synths and octatrack are recorded separately via a Motu ultra lite mk3 on Logic X. I didn't add anything extra. The whole thing is then mastered via Landr.
