Odd Bars - Hardware Jams Weekend Challenge Streamthrough

Hardware Jams Weekend Challenge - The Streamthough!

”Most pieces of music are arranged into tidy sets of 16, 8 or 4 bars - but this isn’t the case all the time. Many songs use sections/sequences with an irregular number of bars before they either repeat or move on to the next section.

3, 5 or 7 bar patterns can sound really interesting and unexpected. Your task this week is to incorporate some sequences in your jams that consist of irregular numbers of bars. It doesn’t have to be like that for the whole jam, it could just be one irregular section in there - or whatever you want to do.

Have fun and get experimental.”
