Ësenaim’s new single 'Sinjar' is now out through Petite Victory Collective.

'Sinjar' is the second single of the upcoming 'Talk About' Album and has a clear objective: dancing sorrow away. In 2019, Michael heard a doctor in Sinjar (Iraq) recall his father’s abduction by the Islamic State - a voice in a history of injustice against the Yezidi. Amid ruin, he found music and resilience.

Sarah’s poem evokes the genocide through fire and ash, where only dreams endure. “L'incendie des idées poussera toujours à l'exil.” A tribute to pain, memory, and the will to rise. Dancing sorrow away.
