Happy new year everyone! We wish you all a great, healthy and creative 2023. What’s better than kickstarting the new year with new music for your dedicated ears? Second Sun’s new EP ‘Insomnia Tapes’ is now out through Petite Victory Collective.

Insomnia Tapes is a spontaneous release by the Danish ambient composer and producer Second Sun. These four tracks were born out of a period of sleepless nights, permeating restlessness, and struggles with mental health. The tracks were more or less improvised on the spot, and (with the exception of the last track) were all done in first take.

With this brand new effort, Jacob Rasmussen presents ambient electronic soundscapes, cinematic impressions, and ethereal textures composed and performed on modular synthesizers.
