SPR & PVC presents: 'Talk About'

Strøm På Roskilde and Petite Victory Collective are joining forces for their next event: “Talk About”. Talks and live electronic music at INSP! in Roskilde.

The French duo Ësenaim. are stopping by Roskilde on their European tour. On this night, they won’t just play a concert, they will also give a Talk as field workers for Doctors Without Borders. A talk about the harsh realities faced by those deployed to crisis zones. You will hear them share the experiences, thoughts, and emotions that inspired the creation of their upcoming album. Sarah and Michael truly have something important to say, and we’re thrilled to be presenting them at our event.

With Sarah and Michaels own words:
Talk About is a journey. A journey to places that many of us have forgotten. Many of us don’t know about. Many of us have never heard of. When we started working with Doctors Without Borders (MSF), our vision of life drastically changed. Each time we came back from a mission, we struggled to share what we witnessed and experienced. We were not able to express ourselves in words, or we were barely heard, because our stories were too far away from many western realities.
That is when, years ago, we decided to record sounds of those places, take videos, write poetry and compose music. To not forget, to find a different form of communication, to make the darkness, the injustice, the resilience, the violence and the beauty we witnessed stay alive.”

AFTERPARTY:

After the talk and concert with Ësenaim in Folkerummet, we will open the doors to the basement at INSP!, where Petite Victory Collective is curating an afterparty featuring electronic live acts from the local PVC crew. All artists are very talented people, who will definitely get you moving while they play. If you’re curious about what’s happening in the Copenhagen underground electronic scene, this is a must-see!
